There's just too many long loading times in the same level. The characters and town look boxy. Here's the bad i found:1. It looks Sega Genesis quality.4.You have to "talk" to pretty much every character in town.
It couln't be that bad. 2. For any activity there's a loading time.3. And most of them tell you useless crap. I read the reviews, but I thought I'd still try it.
Sonic kind of freezes up waiting for tails to catch up. It's not 3rd generation.
I wasn't was I was expecting for this game. Last time I've played was when I had a segacd.
Kinda like the initial sip from a bowl of soup before you tackle the guts of it. It's going to take hours upon hours of GTA4 game play to remove the filthy, filthy after taste.Please friends avoid this like the plague and spare yourself the suffering of hair pulling and gnashing of the teeth That's where everything pretty much turned to a steaming pile of minke whale crap and my excitement turned to bitter, bitter, frustration. I could not have ejected this poor poor excuse for a game quick enough from my machine. My enthusiasm died pretty much at the shoe mission at the very start.
Boy oh boy I should have listened to you guys. As a tradition when placing a new game into any console for the first time, I refrain from touching any buttons, making sure to watch any intro movies first. Anyhow, after the ooo-ing and aaaa-ing at the intro movie; with a giant grin on my face I finally pressed start. Dear lord I can only hope that the next one is better than this waste of a blue-ray disc. As a long time fan of the Sonic series, I couldn't help but check this game out for myself regardless of all the bagging it has received in various review forums.
Shame, shame, shame for shame. Amidst the graphical glitches, broken camera view points and horrible, horrible voice acting (tails' IQ seems to be dropping as his voice gets dopier with each passing game), the game just lacked any excitement.
This is a perfect gift for an older gamer who still remembers Sonic, and the most affordable PS3 game around. If you're a little older, then you remember how fun Sonic the Hedgehog was back in the day. TWO THUMBS UP.
Yet I had no hard time with the camera. Yet it does have its issues. The story gets really good but has a really slow begining which you have to force your self to get through. Yet I had to buy it as soon as I returned it. I give it an 8.5 and would recommend it. Load times are horrible and there are a few glitches.
Overall this game is pretty good with only a few issues. I rented this game because everyone said it was terrible. This game is incredibly fun. The graphics are ok and switch from good to ok quite frequently which gets annoying.
